Their Tesi 1D 906SR from 1991 was one such machine and it was notable for having a hub-center steering front suspension system rather than the more orthodox forks. This type of system separates the steering, braking, and suspension functions, enabling greater stability and steering consistency since the affect that the suspension movement and braking has on the steering is minimized. Featuring a powerful Ducati-built liquid-cooled L-twin engine and large diameter Brembo brakes, it also boasted very impressive performance figures. Only a small number were produced, so it was not only an eccentric, but also an exclusive motorcycle.
