I bought this, so I could attempt Luftwaffe ‘mottling’ in 1/48 – I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on an airbrush that only saw limited use. The airbrush is solidly made, and the threads are all tight, and trigger operation is very smooth. – It even came with a quick release coupling. In use, the needle lift limiter is useful to keep lines thin. The air flow adjuster ( under the paint cup ) is very sensitive, so I controlled the pressure from my compressor. It’s just as easy to clean as any other airbrush. I don’t know about durability, but at the price it is excellent value. If you want to do a limited amount of fine airbrush work, on a budget, then I would recommend this

I bought this to back up a Badger 150 airbrush and I think it will replace its much more expensive companion. I found the needle travel limiter dead easy to use and it stops you spraying too much paint if you move the trigger to the rear of its travel. The air flow adjuster on the brush is also very handy – I can set pressure at my compressor of course but having this fine control just to ahnd is very useful as well to get the right amount of air/paint flowing. With a .3 mm tip, I can do very fine lines all the way to big strokes for priming a kit. It’s very easy to clean, and I look forward to using it again and again. I reckon these will take a lot of use and abuse before having issues so – recommended, and not jsut as a starter brush.
