The Corsair is considered one of the best US Navy fighters of World WarII and was used from 1944 on aircraft carriers in the Pacific. Japanese opponents called it the Whispering Death . It was one of the few propeller aircraft still flying in the Korean War. Max. speed: 684 km/h.
