Usage

Substrate
Common plastics used to manufacture model kits including polystyrene and ABS, as well as MDF. Matcote is usually applied as the final coat to a fully painted and decaled model.
Application
Brush or airbrush. Thin suitably when airbrushing using Enamel thinners.
Drying Time
Surface dry in 1 hour. Fully dry after 24 hours. Drying times will vary according to ambient temperature and humidity. Recoat after 24 hours.
Coverage
Dependent on application and thickness of coats.
How to Clean
Brushes: Use Enamel thinners. Airbrushes:Flush through using enamel thinners.

I prefer enamel varnish to acrylic, as enamel will cover both types of paint with any problems, as if you cover enamel paint with some types of acrylic varnish, it blisters.
Humbrol bottled varnish is one of the best.
