Revell 05693 1/720 HMS HOOD – 100th Anniversary Edition
First launched in 1918 and commissioned in 1920, HMS Hood was the last battle cruiser built for the Royal Navy. In May 1941, she and HMS Prince of Wales were tasked with intercepting the German Battleship Bismarck. Early in the Battle of the Denmark Strait, Hood was shelled, exploded and sank within minutes, with the loss of almost her entire crew! Revell’s detailed recreation of HMS Hood can be completed as either a full hull or waterline model and her many structures and armament are faithfully reproduced. A display base is included. In addition, this 100th anniversary commemorative Gift Set includes Contacta Professional cement, a paintbrush, selected Aqua acrylic paints and an A2-size reproduction of the box artwork.
