Das Werks 2 cm Flak 30 kit models the classic WWII German light anti-aircraft autocannon. Known for its rapid-fire capability, this stationary variant can be configured with or without a rotating mount base, making it perfect for static air-defense emplacements, vehicle deck mounts, or diorama attachments for infantry sections.

Historical Background:

Introduced in the mid-1930s, the Flak 30 was one of Germany’s earliest 20 mm anti-aircraft weapons, widely deployed at field units, bunkers, and vehicles. While quickly superseded by the Flak 38 and Flak vierling mounts, it remained in use throughout WWII, especially in static or auxiliary roles.
