Das Werks Sturmhaubitze III Ausf. G is a dual purpose variant that allows builders to depict it either as the Assault Gun III (StuG III) or the Sturmhaubitze 42 self propelled howitzer. Based on the Panzer III chassis, this new-tool kit features crisp detail, simplified assembly, optional open or closed recoil shields, and finely modeled suspension and tracksideal for both quick and in-depth builds.

Historical Background:

The StuG III Ausf. G was one of Germanys most produced armored vehicles during WWII, serving as both an assault gun and tank hunter. The Sturmhaubitze 42 firing platform mounted a 10.5 cm howitzer, making it effective for infantry support. Deployed extensively on both Eastern and Western Fronts from 1943 onwards, these vehicles were appreciated for their low profile, strong firepower, and adaptability in combined arms operations.
