Victrix Plastic Miniatures
12mm German Infantry and Heavy Weapons VG12013
This detailed 12mm (1:144 scale) World War II infantry set from Victrix includes 184 miniatures, crafted with exceptional detail and historical accuracy. Designed to allow you to field a complete German infantry company at a 1:1 ratio, the set features a balanced mix of riflemen, officers, support weapons, and anti-tank teams.
Each figure has been carefully sculpted to capture realistic proportions and fine detailing, often exceeding what’s seen in larger 15mm and 20mm scale miniatures. Most figures are one-piece castings for ease of assembly, with mortars and heavy machine guns produced as simple multipart kits for quick construction without sacrificing realism.
The set includes a comprehensive selection of combat roles and weapon systems—ideal for representing German forces in any late-war European theatre. With everything from MG42 teams to mortars, Panzerfausts, and Panzerschrecks, this set gives you the flexibility to depict both frontline and support elements of a typical Wehrmacht infantry unit.

History:
By 1944, German infantry formations had evolved into mixed-arms teams built around the powerful MG42 and supported by mortars, radios, and portable anti-tank weapons. Infantry tactics relied heavily on the firepower of the squad machine gun, while Panzerfausts and Panzerschrecks offered much-needed defence against Allied armour. Mortars provided essential indirect fire support, and radios became increasingly critical for coordinating units and calling in artillery. Despite mounting logistical and manpower challenges, German infantry continued to fight tenaciously across both Eastern and Western fronts. This set captures the structure and versatility of these units with excellent detail, offering a complete solution for wargaming late-war scenarios or building historically accurate displays.
