Based on the Boeing 707 airframe, the E-3G is the most modernised variant in service, providing command-and-control, surveillance, and battle management capability for US and allied air operations. This detailed model includes accurate moulding of the fuselage, radome, and landing gear, with authentic USAF markings circa 2023.

History

The Boeing E-3 Sentry entered service with the US Air Force in 1977, revolutionising airborne command and control. Fitted with a rotating AN/APY-1/2 radar dome, the aircraft can track hundreds of targets over vast distances, coordinating both air defence and offensive operations. The E-3G is the latest modernised version, incorporating updated avionics, digital communications, and improved radar capabilities. It continues to play a central role in USAF and NATO operations, providing unmatched situational awareness and coordination in conflicts and exercises worldwide. Even after decades of service, ongoing upgrades ensure the Sentry remains a vital asset in modern air warfare.
