History:
The M1025 Armoured Carrier is a version of the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), or Humvee, developed to provide enhanced crew protection in combat environments. Introduced in the 1980s, the M1025 served in a variety of roles including command and reconnaissance, often equipped with a roof-mounted weapon station. Its armour upgrades improved survivability against small arms fire and shrapnel, making it a vital asset during conflicts such as the Gulf War and operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The M1025 contributed significantly to the Humvee’s reputation as the backbone of US military mobility.
