History:
The M3 Half-track entered service in the early 1940s and became a mainstay of US and Allied armies during World War II. Designed to carry infantry into battle while providing protection and fire support, it was used extensively across Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific. Over 40,000 units were produced, and its versatility led to numerous variants, including troop carriers, command vehicles, and self-propelled guns. The M3’s adaptability and reliability cemented its reputation as a workhorse of Allied mechanised forces.
