History:
The Sepecat Jaguar was a joint Anglo-French development, entering service in the early 1970s as a versatile strike and reconnaissance aircraft. Known for its ruggedness and ability to operate at low altitude, the Jaguar played an important role in NATO and allied air forces during the Cold War. The RAF used it extensively in Europe, the Gulf, and the Balkans, while France deployed it in Africa and the Middle East. India was the largest foreign operator, continuing to modernise and fly the Jaguar into the 21st century. Its reliability and adaptability cemented its legacy as one of the most successful Anglo-French military collaborations of the post-war era.
