History:

The T-34/85 was introduced in 1944 to counter increasingly powerful German tanks such as the Panther and Tiger. The version built at Factory No.112 “Krasnoye Sormovo” featured a new cast turret mounting the 85mm ZiS-S-53 gun, giving Soviet crews a much-needed boost in firepower. With improved armour and greater firepower, the T-34/85 became a decisive weapon on the Eastern Front, playing a key role in Soviet offensives from 1944 until the end of the war. Factory No.112 was one of the largest producers of the T-34/85, turning out thousands of vehicles that spearheaded the Red Army’s final push into Germany. Its rugged design, ease of production, and battlefield effectiveness cemented its place as one of the most iconic tanks of the Second World War.
