ZEP Small Aircraft Holder ZEP_MSJ01

The ZEP Small Aircraft Holder ZEP_MSJ01 is designed to support scale models during assembly, painting, treatment and transport. It is intended for 1/72 scale aircraft, although other scales may fit depending on the overall dimensions of the model. The holder can also be used when assembling, painting or treating turrets from 1/35 scale armoured vehicles.

The base is comparable in size to an A5 cutting mat, creating a compact working platform for smaller modelling projects. Its supports can be moved longitudinally along the base and adjusted in height to suit the position of the model. Each support can also swivel through 360 degrees, allowing its angle to be changed as work progresses.

Recommended Uses

Use the holder to support a 1/72 aircraft while assembling components, applying paint or carrying out other modelling treatments. It can also hold a 1/35 armoured vehicle turret during similar work. The adjustable supports allow their height, position and angle to be altered to suit the model.

Elastic bands are included to help hold the model during transport to exhibitions, competitions or other events. Stickers are supplied for adding a name or pseudonym to the base when photographing the model, along with non-slip silicone drops for the underside.

Application Notes

The holder is designed for simple assembly without glue or trimming, with a stated maximum assembly time of three minutes. Position the supports to suit the model before use, referring to the ruler, height and rotation markings where consistent placement is required.
