Woodgrain Wash (18ml)
Woodgrain Wash is formulated to bring natural depth and definition to wooden surfaces on miniatures and scale models. Its warm brown pigments settle smoothly into sculpted grain, recesses, and textural detail, instantly enhancing the appearance of planks, rifle stocks, shields, crates, furniture, and scenic elements. The matte finish blends seamlessly with a wide range of base colours, making wood look richer and more realistic.
The slow-drying acrylic formula gives you time to push pigment into deeper areas or soften transitions where needed. Designed for brush application, it flows cleanly into recesses while maintaining low odour for long painting sessions. It can be used alone for gentle shading or layered with other washes to create complex aged-wood effects.
