This 3rd Gen acrylic set gathers six tones built specifically for rust effects, giving you a balanced palette for everything from subtle oxidisation to heavy chipping and corrosion. The paints mix smoothly with each other, which makes it easy to build up transitions, deepen shadows or push highlights without fighting the colour shifts. They brush on with strong coverage thanks to the 3rd Gen formulation, and when thinned they airbrush cleanly without that chalky finish older acrylics can leave behind.

The range of tones moves from bright fresh rust through darker, older metallic browns, letting you layer effects in a way that feels natural rather than abrupt. From small accessories to full armour panels or weathered machinery, this set covers most rust scenarios without needing extras. Each colour dries to a matte finish, giving you a good base for streaking, pigments or further weathering without any shine getting in the way.
