Border Model’s 1/35 Tiger I Early Production offers a sharply detailed representation of one of Germany’s most iconic WWII tanks. This kit replicates the initial production version of the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I, known for its thick armour and formidable 88mm gun. It captures all the distinctive features seen in early versions deployed on the Eastern Front.

The model includes precisely moulded plastic parts with accurate rivet detail and casting textures. Builders will find photo-etch enhancements and detailed options for hatches, tools, and turret fittings. History:

Introduced in 1942, the Tiger I was Germany’s answer to increasingly powerful Allied tanks. The early production variants were first used on the Eastern Front and in North Africa. Armed with the powerful 8.8cm KwK 36 gun and protected by thick frontal armour, the Tiger I quickly gained a reputation for invincibility. Despite its mechanical complexity, it left a lasting impression on tank warfare and continues to be a favourite among military historians and scale modellers.
