History

During the early 20th century, klaxon horns were widely used on both civilian and military vehicles as a means of signalling to pedestrians and other traffic. On the Garford-Putilov armoured car, the klaxon served an important role in both battlefield and logistical environments, allowing crews to warn nearby troops or clear the way during movements.
