History
The St Etienne Mle 1907 machine gun was adapted for anti-aircraft use during World War I, including on vehicles such as the French Armoured Car Model 1914. This modification allowed crews to engage enemy aircraft as the aerial threat grew. Though limited by the technology of the time, these adaptations reflected the rapid evolution of warfare and the versatility required of early armoured vehicles.
