AK Interactive Quick Marker Pens are designed for fast and efficient miniature painting using the contrast painting technique. Developed with wargamers in mind, they allow colour, shading, and depth to be applied in a single coat, making them ideal for painting armies quickly while maintaining definition and visual interest.
The paint uses a special formulation based on a new generation resin, flowing smoothly from the marker tip onto the surface. As it settles, the pigment naturally accumulates in recessed areas and pulls away from raised details, creating highlights and shadows automatically without the need for washes or layering.
This uneven pigment distribution results in subtle tonal variation across textured surfaces. Different areas absorb and reflect light differently, producing a natural sense of depth and contrast that enhances fine details across the miniature.
