History:
The North American B-25 Mitchell was one of the most versatile and successful twin-engine bombers of the Second World War. Named after General Billy Mitchell, it served in multiple theatres including the Pacific and European fronts. The B-25J “Strafer” variant was distinguished by its formidable forward armament, designed for low-level attacks against ground and naval targets. Its adaptability and durability made it a favourite among Allied crews, earning a lasting legacy as one of the most iconic bombers of its era.
