The Eduard Messerschmitt Bf-109F-2 Weekend Edition (1/72) provides a detailed yet straightforward build of one of the Luftwaffe’s most celebrated fighter variants. The F-2 introduced aerodynamic refinements, a more streamlined nose, and an upgraded engine, offering improved speed and handling over earlier versions. It was a favourite among many Luftwaffe aces during the early years of WWII on both the Western and Eastern fronts.
This Weekend Edition kit delivers Eduard’s finely moulded plastic parts with four historically accurate marking options, covering aircraft flown by notable German pilots in 1941–42. With no photo-etched or resin parts included, the build is simplified for a faster and more accessible modelling experience, while still maintaining excellent surface detail and accuracy.
