This 1/72 scale Foreart kit represents the M1278 Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), the modern successor to the iconic Humvee. History:
The M1278 Joint Light Tactical Vehicle was developed as part of the JLTV program to replace and supplement the ageing Humvee fleet. First entering service in the mid-2010s, it offers significant improvements in protection, mobility, and payload capacity. Powered by a GM Duramax V8 diesel engine and equipped with advanced armour protection, the JLTV balances survivability with off-road agility. It is designed to transport troops, carry mission-critical equipment, and support modular weapon systems, making it a versatile asset in modern conflicts. Widely adopted by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, the JLTV has also gained interest from allied nations seeking to modernise their light vehicle fleets.
Note: This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.
