This Foreart kit provides two complete M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System vehicles in 1/72 scale, allowing modellers to build a pair of modern rocket artillery platforms in a single set. The HIMARS launcher is mounted on a wheeled military truck chassis and is designed for rapid deployment and precision strikes using guided rocket systems. This kit captures the distinctive shape and structure of the vehicle, making it well suited for modern military displays or small scale diorama scenes.

The set includes detailed interior features, opening panels and finely produced external components that help bring the model to life. Doors and hatches can be posed open to reveal the driver compartment, while the engine area is also represented with internal detail. The kit includes 3D printed tyres and figures, as well as photo etched parts to enhance smaller features across the model.

History:

The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System was developed in the United States to provide long range precision firepower with high mobility. Mounted on a wheeled truck chassis, the system offers rapid deployment and the ability to relocate quickly after firing. The launcher can carry pods for Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets or the longer range ATACMS missile system.

In recent conflicts, particularly in Ukraine, the HIMARS platform has gained significant attention due to its accuracy and effectiveness.
