The M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) is a lightweight, mobile launcher capable of delivering precision rocket fire with exceptional speed and flexibility. Built for deployment on a standard 6×6 truck chassis, the HIMARS is designed for rapid mobility, long-range firepower, and digital fire control integration, making it one of the most effective modern artillery systems in service today.

History:
Developed by Lockheed Martin, the M142 HIMARS entered service in the early 2000s as a rapidly deployable artillery system designed for modern warfare. Its modular launcher is capable of firing a variety of munitions, including the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) and the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS). Mounted on a standard FMTV chassis, the HIMARS provides a potent mix of mobility, speed, and precision. It has been extensively deployed by the United States and allied forces, most notably in recent conflicts in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. HIMARS continues to play a vital role in delivering long-range, precision strikes in support of ground operations.
