GEEHOBBY Carving Guide Tape provides a firm, accurately positioned edge for rescribing existing panel lines or adding new engraved detail to scale models. At 3mm wide, the narrow tape is particularly useful where working space is limited and when following curved or irregular surfaces.

The PET tape combines enough flexibility to conform to both flat and curved areas with a stable edge for guiding a scribing tool. Once positioned on the model, it is designed to remain firmly in place as the scriber is passed alongside it, reducing unwanted movement and helping to produce accurate, consistent lines.

Printed scale for accurate positioning

A measurement scale runs directly along the tape, providing a useful reference when laying out panel lines and other engraved details. The markings are divided into 1mm graduations, with larger 5mm reference intervals to make positioning easier.

These markings are particularly useful when reproducing regularly spaced details or aligning features across different areas of a model. The tape can therefore act as both a positioning aid and a physical guide for the scribing tool, reducing the need to establish measurements separately before starting the cut.

Narrow tape for curved and confined areas

The 3mm width makes this version well suited to areas where a wider guide would be difficult to position. Its ability to follow curved and irregular surfaces allows it to be used around model contours while still providing a defined edge for the scriber.

After the required line has been scribed, the tape can be peeled away without leaving adhesive residue on the model. The 30 metre roll provides plenty of material for repeated use across aircraft, armour, vehicles, ships and other scale modelling projects.
