Green Stuff World Fluor Alien Ooze is a 10ml fluorescent green special-effects gel for creating alien slime, mucus and viscous secretions on miniatures, creatures and dioramas. Its thick, stringy texture stretches into suspended filaments between teeth, claws and other details, while larger amounts create raised accumulations of slime. Particularly suited to science fiction, fantasy and horror models.

Green Stuff World Fluor Alien Ooze – 10ml Fluorescent Slime Gel

Green Stuff World Fluor Alien Ooze is a fluorescent green special-effects gel for recreating alien slime, mucus and thick secretions on miniatures, models and dioramas. Part of the Green Stuff World Slime Effects range, it adds physical texture and three-dimensional volume to creatures, monsters and science fiction scenery.

Unlike conventional paint effects, Fluor Alien Ooze has a thick, stringy consistency that stretches into suspended strands. These filaments can connect different parts of a miniature, creating the appearance of sticky alien saliva, mucus hanging from claws or viscous fluids stretching between surfaces.

The fluorescent green colour gives the finished effect a distinctive appearance, particularly on alien creatures, mutated monsters and horror-themed models. Applied directly from the container, the undiluted gel holds its shape without dripping, allowing controlled placement on small details.

Creating Fluorescent Slime Strands

Fluor Alien Ooze can be stretched between two attachment points to produce thin threads or heavier strands of fluorescent slime. This technique is particularly useful for creating saliva between a creature’s teeth, mucus connecting claws or sticky secretions hanging from jaws and tentacles.

To create suspended filaments:

  1. Collect a small amount of gel from the container using a toothpick or modelling tool.
  2. Apply it to the first attachment point, such as a tooth, claw or jaw.
  3. Gently stretch the gel towards a second attachment point.
  4. Attach the strand and adjust its thickness by varying the amount of gel used.

Smaller amounts produce delicate filaments, while larger quantities create thicker, more substantial strands. Combining different thicknesses with small accumulations at the attachment points gives the slime a more irregular, organic appearance.

Alien Secretions and Raised Slime Details

The gel can also be applied without stretching to create raised deposits, thick mucus and accumulations of fluorescent green slime. These effects work well on alien mouths, monster claws, mutated creatures and science fiction dioramas.

Its fluorescent finish makes it particularly suitable for depicting unusual biological fluids and extraterrestrial secretions, while the gel’s physical volume creates texture that extends beyond the painted surface.

Adjusting the Gel Consistency

For thinner applications, Fluor Alien Ooze can be diluted gradually with Green Stuff World Slime Effects Thinner. Adding a small amount and mixing thoroughly reduces the gel’s density, allowing it to spread in thinner layers across a surface.

Dilution changes the original strand-forming behaviour, so the undiluted gel is better suited to suspended filaments and thicker three-dimensional details.

Keep the container tightly closed between uses and work in a well-ventilated area. Follow the product label’s instructions and safety warnings.
