Green Stuff World Slime Effects Paint Set – 6 x 10ml
The Green Stuff World Slime Effects Paint Set contains six special-effects gels for creating realistic slime, saliva, mucus, alien secretions, bile and thick blood on miniatures, models and dioramas. Designed for three-dimensional effects, these gels add physical texture and volume rather than relying on painted details alone.
Each gel has a thick, fibrous and elastic consistency that can be stretched into strands, threads and suspended filaments. This makes it possible to recreate saliva hanging between a creature’s teeth, mucus connecting claws, alien fluids dripping from tentacles or blood stretching between weapons and wounds.
Six Slime and Gore Effects
The set includes six different effects, each supplied in a 10ml container:
- Clear Snot Effect: Transparent slime for saliva, mucus and wet organic details.
- Fluor Alien Ooze: Fluorescent effects for alien secretions, mutations and toxic-looking fluids.
- Black Goo: Dark viscous effects for creatures, monsters and sinister environments.
- Violet Goo: Purple-toned secretions for fantasy creatures and supernatural effects.
- Bile Sludge: Bilious slime for infected wounds, unpleasant secretions and organic details.
- Blood Gloops: Thick blood effects for wounds, weapons and gore scenes.
Creating Strands, Droplets and Raised Details
To create suspended slime strands, collect a small amount of gel with a toothpick, modelling tool or old paintbrush. Apply it to the first contact point, then slowly stretch it towards a second surface to form a filament.
Teeth, jaws, claws, tentacles, weapons and scenery elements can all serve as anchor points. Adjusting the amount of gel and the distance between surfaces allows you to create anything from delicate threads to thick, hanging strands.
The gels can also be applied without stretching to form droplets, small puddles, accumulated secretions and raised patches of viscous material. Combining these applications creates varied textures across miniature figures and diorama scenes.
Adjusting Consistency and Combining Effects
For thinner applications, the gels can be diluted gradually using Green Stuff World’s Slime Effects Thinner. The original thick consistency is particularly useful for suspended filaments, while a thinner mixture allows you to create wet patches, surface trails and smaller accumulations.
Different colours can be combined, and the gels can also be used alongside other Green Stuff World acrylic paints and effects to develop more complex finishes.
Keep the containers tightly closed between uses and work in a well-ventilated area.
