GreenStuffWorld Earth Texture Paste Set Vol. 2

Create convincing soils, paths and terrain with this GreenStuffWorld set of four high-density acrylic texturing pastes. Each 30 ml paste combines colour and texture in one application, adding volume, relief and a natural finish directly to miniature bases, models, scenery, dioramas and wargaming boards.

The set contains Red Mars Earth, Terracotta Earth, Light Earth and Volcanic Earth texturing pastes. Together, these shades cover light sandy ground, reddish and brown earth, and dark volcanic terrain. Use them individually or combine colours to form more varied transitions across arid landscapes, deserts, battlefields, trails, ruins, eroded soils, volcanic settings and Martian scenes.

Build natural texture and relief

The thick consistency and high concentration of particles make these texture pastes suitable for thin layers or more pronounced, irregular surfaces. Apply them with a putty knife, old paintbrush, modelling tool or palette knife to form small elevations, rough areas, paths, dirt piles and eroded terrain effects.

Excellent adhesion supports use on plastic, resin, wood, metal, cardboard and other materials commonly found in model making. The pastes are useful for decorating miniature bases, movement trays, vehicles, buildings, ruins, and scenery elements, allowing a single set to support projects ranging from a single base to a large diorama or a complete gaming board.

Flexible application and finishing

Before drying, the acrylic pastes are water-soluble, so tools can be cleaned with water after use. The approximate drying time is 5 to 30 minutes, depending on application thickness and environmental conditions. This gives you the flexibility to spread a controlled layer or build up more substantial ground texture according to the effect required.

Once dry, the textured surfaces can be painted and varnished. They can also be combined with pigments, washes, dry brushing, vegetation, sand, stones, water effects, resins and other weathering techniques. This makes it possible to develop the initial earth texture into a more complex environment while retaining the volume and relief created by the paste.
