Water Soluble Patina Verdigris
The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Verdigris is a large-format acrylic weathering effect designed for recreating realistic verdigris, oxidised copper, aged bronze, and environmental weathering on miniatures, models, terrain, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the effect to be blended, softened, and reactivated for highly natural-looking finishes.
Part of the patina paints range, this product is suitable for fantasy terrain, military models, industrial scenery, railway modelling, and science fiction projects.

The formula allows pigments to naturally settle into panel lines, textured surfaces, and recessed details, helping create convincing aged metal effects and environmental staining. The finish can be adjusted using damp brushes, cotton swabs, or sponges to create subtle oxidation or heavily weathered surfaces depending on the desired appearance.
The larger 240ml format is especially useful for large terrain builds, gaming boards, scenery projects, and extensive weathering applications where greater coverage is required. Once complete, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the ultra-matte appearance and protect the finish during handling.
