Water Soluble Patina Yellow Oxide
The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Yellow Oxide is an acrylic weathering effect developed for creating realistic oxidation, dirt, grime, and aged surface finishes on miniatures, vehicles, terrain, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the effect to be blended, softened, and reactivated for highly natural weathering results.
Part of the patina paints range, this product is suitable for military modelling, industrial scenery, fantasy terrain, science fiction projects, and railway weathering.

The formula allows pigments to naturally settle into recesses, textured areas, and panel lines to reproduce convincing weathering and tonal variation. The effect can be manipulated using damp brushes, sponges, or cotton swabs to create anything from subtle staining to heavy aged finishes.
The product can be applied directly by brush or slightly diluted for airbrush work when smoother transitions and larger-scale weathering effects are required. Once complete, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the finish and maintain its natural ultra-matte appearance.
