Hasegawa U.S. Aircraft Weapons E 1/48 Accessory Set

Hasegawa U.S. Aircraft Weapons E is a 1/48 scale accessory set containing modern American air-to-air missiles, guided bombs, launchers, electronic equipment and targeting pods. Manufacturer reference HAX4817, it provides a varied selection of external stores and pods for suitable 1/48 aircraft modelling projects.

This product is an aircraft weapons and equipment set rather than a complete aircraft model kit. All included parts require painting to complete. Modellers should check the supported loadout and mounting positions for their chosen aircraft before fitting any of the supplied components.

Missiles, Bombs and Launchers

The set includes eight AIM-120C AMRAAM missiles and four AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles. Four LAU-115 C/A guided missile launchers and eight LAU-127 guided missile launchers are also supplied, providing mounting components for suitable aircraft configurations.

Air-to-ground weapons comprise two GBU-31(V) 3/B JDAMs and six GBU-38 JDAMs. These parts allow the modeller to select from the included weapons when planning an appropriate external load for a compatible 1/48 aircraft project.

Electronic and Targeting Pods

The electronic equipment includes two AN/ALQ-184 ECM pods and two AN/ALQ-188(V)3 Electronic Attack Training Pods. The set also contains two AN/ASQ-213 HARM Targeting Systems.

Targeting equipment comprises two AN/AAQ-33 Sniper-XR pods and two AN/AAQ-28 Litening AT/RecceLite targeting pods. Together, these components offer several options for representing specialised targeting, reconnaissance, training or electronic equipment where supported by the chosen aircraft.
