The Hasegawa Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution VI Low Down Version is a highly detailed 1/24 scale plastic model kit based on extensive research of the original performance car. This special edition includes newly developed 3D printed components that recreate the aggressive lowered stance favoured by performance enthusiasts, making it an ideal addition to any Japanese performance car collection.

The kit contains 71 precision-moulded parts and builds into a model measuring approximately 181mm long and 74mm wide. The body is moulded in red and accurately captures the distinctive styling of the Evolution VI, including its muscular wheel arches, bonnet vents and prominent rear spoiler. Exclusive 3D printed brake disc and suspension components allow the finished model to sit lower than the standard version, while a large-diameter sports exhaust tip completes the customised appearance.

History

Introduced in 1999, the Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution VI represented one of the most successful generations of the legendary Evolution series. Developed from Mitsubishi’s World Rally Championship programme, it featured permanent four-wheel drive, an advanced turbocharged engine and sophisticated suspension, making it one of the fastest and most capable performance saloons of its era. The Evolution VI became particularly popular among enthusiasts for its tuning potential, with lowered suspension, larger exhaust systems and upgraded brakes becoming common modifications. Today, the Evo VI remains one of the most sought-after Japanese performance cars ever produced.
