This 1/72 scale Mitsubishi G4M2E Type 1 Attack Bomber from Hasegawa depicts the late-war Japanese Navy variant modified to carry the MXY7 Ohka Model 11 rocket-powered suicide weapon. The G4M, known to Allied forces as “Betty”, was a long-range twin-engine bomber widely used throughout the Pacific War.

The G4M2E version was specially adapted to transport the Ohka beneath its fuselage, launching it toward heavily defended Allied naval targets. This kit captures the distinctive lines of the Betty along with the dramatic addition of the Ohka Model 11, creating a historically significant and visually striking subject.

Finely engraved panel lines and clear canopy parts are included, along with waterslide decals for authentic Imperial Japanese Navy markings. The kit builds into an impressive WWII bomber display piece, whether shown in flight configuration with the Ohka attached or prepared for launch.
