Hasegawa Aircraft Model Kit
Kawasaki Ki61-I Hien “Tony” (1/72)
This 1/72 scale Kawasaki Ki61-I Hien, known to Allied forces as “Tony”, captures one of Imperial Japan’s most distinctive World War II fighters. Unlike many Japanese aircraft of the era, the Ki61 was powered by a licence-built liquid-cooled inline engine, giving it a unique appearance and performance profile.
Hasegawa’s A Series tooling delivers crisp surface detail and cleanly moulded parts, making this an enjoyable build whether you are adding to a WWII aircraft collection or starting a compact fighter project. The kit includes clear canopy components, waterslide decals, and a straightforward assembly and colour guide.
Compact in scale but full of character, this model is well suited for both beginners and experienced modellers looking for a quick yet satisfying build.
