Hasegawa Macross Zero VF-0A GERWALK with Ghost Boosters

Recreate Shin Kudo’s VF-0A from Macross Zero in GERWALK mode with this detailed 1/72 model kit from Hasegawa. This version represents the VF-0A equipped with Ghost Boosters and is designed to create the distinctive GERWALK configuration with an impressive hovering display.

The kit contains 164 parts and builds into a substantial model measuring 280mm in length and 179mm in width. Components are moulded in four colours: light grey, dark grey, clear and blue-grey, with the blue-grey parts used for the included Macross display stand.

VF-0A Shin Kudo GERWALK Configuration

This kit features the Type A head and represents Shin Kudo’s VF-0A fitted with its Ghost Boosters. The GERWALK configuration gives the completed model its distinctive appearance, combining the aircraft form with the characteristic stance of this mode.

At 1/72 scale, the VF-0A provides a sizeable Macross Zero modelling subject. Its finished dimensions of 280mm long and 179mm wide give the completed model a strong presence alongside other 1/72 aircraft.

Macross Stand and Hovering Display

A Macross stand is included with the kit and is intended to support the tail-heavy model. The stand allows the completed VF-0A GERWALK to be presented in a hovering pose, providing a display configuration suited to the Ghost Booster-equipped aircraft.

The four moulded colours help establish the appearance of the model during assembly, with light grey, dark grey and clear components used for the VF-0A and blue-grey parts for the stand. The combination of the Type A head, Ghost Boosters and dedicated stand defines this particular Shin Kudo configuration.
