High-Temp Polyester Tape 10mm RST2034

Scale Model Shop High-Temp Polyester Tape RST2034 is designed for epoxy resin work where a secure seal and controlled edge are required. The tape uses a durable PET polyester film backing with a silicone adhesive that withstands high temperatures without warping or peeling.

The tape measures 10mm wide and is supplied on a 33m roll. Its narrow width makes it suitable for positioning around detailed edges, smaller mould sections and areas where more controlled placement is needed. The adhesive is designed to hold securely during resin pours and curing, then remove cleanly without leaving residue or marks on the surface.

Compatibility

This high-temperature polyester tape is suitable for epoxy resin work, mould applications and coating projects. Stated uses include resin casting, doming, finishing and polishing, as well as protecting moulds, edges and work surfaces during pouring or curing.

It can also be used when creating defined edges on resin coasters, trays and layered projects. No compatibility with specific resin brands, mould materials or curing systems has been supplied.

Fitting Notes

Apply the tape to the required edge, mould or work surface before beginning the resin or coating process. Press it firmly into place to create the required seal and check that the tape follows the intended boundary before pouring or applying the coating.

Once the resin work or curing stage is complete, remove the tape carefully. The silicone adhesive is designed to release cleanly without leaving residue or visible marks. Handle the tape with care and store the roll in a cool, dry place to help maintain its adhesive strength.
