This exceptional set of 12 mounted miniatures represents the elite Islamic heavy cavalry of the 12th and 13th centuries, including Syrian and Seljuk warriors. Sculpted with dynamic poses and period-authentic details, the set includes a wide array of weapons, armour types, and regional headgear to reflect the diversity of Islamic cavalry forces of the era.

Figures feature mail and lamellar armour, and come with multiple helmet styles such as fully enclosed mail hoods, spiked helms, open-faced designs, and turbans. Optional bow cases and quivers are included to allow representation of Seljuk horse archers, alongside sword, lance, axe, and mace arm options.

Distinctive Seljuk details such as triple-braided hairstyles and the Sharbush fur cap (worn by chieftains and famously by Saladin) add flavour and authenticity. The inclusion of curved sabres and straight swords, as well as a variety of shield options, provides the flexibility to model forces for different Islamic factions.
