Italeri McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle (1/48) 92763
The Italeri McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle is a detailed 1/48 scale model kit of one of the world’s most successful air superiority fighters. Designed to achieve complete dominance of the skies, the F-15C combines outstanding performance, advanced avionics and exceptional manoeuvrability, making it one of the most respected fighter aircraft ever built.
This kit faithfully reproduces the Eagle’s distinctive twin-engine layout, large wings and powerful vertical stabilisers. The completed model measures approximately 40.3cm in length and includes decals for four different aircraft, allowing modellers to build examples from several operators. Fine surface engraving and accurate external details make it an excellent centrepiece for any modern military aircraft collection.
Powered by two Pratt & Whitney F100 afterburning turbofan engines, the F-15C is capable of speeds exceeding Mach 2.5 while carrying a formidable air-to-air weapons load. Armed with the internal 20mm M61 Vulcan cannon together with a variety of guided missiles, it was designed to defeat enemy fighters before they could threaten friendly aircraft or ground forces.
Suitable for experienced modellers, this kit captures the impressive appearance of the Eagle and offers an enjoyable build that accurately represents one of the United States Air Force’s most iconic combat aircraft.

History
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle first entered service during the 1970s following the United States Air Force’s requirement for a dedicated air superiority fighter. The improved F-15C variant introduced greater fuel capacity and enhanced avionics while retaining the aircraft’s outstanding speed, climb rate and manoeuvrability. During Operation Desert Storm, the F-15C established complete air superiority for Coalition forces, recording more aerial victories than any other fighter in the conflict. The aircraft continues to serve with the United States Air Force, Air National Guard and several allied air forces, maintaining an unmatched combat record in air-to-air engagements.
Glue and paints are sold separately.
