Iwata Super Lube 2ml Airbrush Lubricant
Iwata Super Lube (2ml) IWA-015002 is a specialist lubricant for maintaining Iwata and other airbrushes. It can be used on moving parts to help keep them operating smoothly and can also be applied along the needle and inside the needle cap to enhance paint flow and help prevent the tip from drying.
The clear-coloured, reformulated Iwata Lube is non-toxic and silicone-free. It does not have evaporative qualities and maintains its viscosity in different environments. The compact 2ml tube provides a convenient quantity for regular airbrush maintenance and allows the lubricant to be applied directly to the areas where it is required.
Where to Apply Iwata Super Lube
Iwata Lube can be used on all moving parts of an airbrush. In particular, it can be applied to the following components and areas during maintenance:
- Main lever
- Needle packing
- Valve-piston packing
- Along the airbrush needle
- Inside the needle cap
Applying Iwata Lube to the main lever, needle packing and valve-piston packing helps keep these moving components operating smoothly. When applied along the needle and inside the needle cap, the lubricant helps enhance paint flow and prevent the tip from drying. This allows one lubricant to be used across several areas of the airbrush as part of routine maintenance.
Silicone-Free Airbrush Maintenance
Iwata Super Lube is specifically silicone-free as well as non-toxic. Silicone-based lubricants should not be used in the airbrush trigger or air valve, so using an appropriate silicone-free lubricant is important when maintaining these parts.
The reformulated clear-coloured lube maintains its viscosity in all environments and does not have evaporative qualities. It works with Iwata airbrushes and other airbrushes, lubricating moving parts and helping maintain smooth movement during use.
The 2ml size is suited to keeping with your regular airbrush cleaning and maintenance equipment, ready for application to the lever, packings, needle and needle cap when required.
