History:

The Hughes AH-6 and MH-6 Little Bird helicopters were developed in the late 1970s for use by U.S. Army special operations forces. Compact, agile, and capable of being transported in C-130 aircraft, the Little Bird has proven invaluable for close air support, personnel insertion, and reconnaissance missions. The AH-6J is typically outfitted with machine guns and rockets, while the MH-6J serves as a transport for small SOF teams. Both variants saw extensive service in Panama, Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Their speed and manoeuvrability make them a formidable asset in urban and unconventional warfare environments.
