History:

The HH-60G Pave Hawk is a specialised variant of the Sikorsky Black Hawk, developed to perform personnel recovery in hostile environments. Entering service in the late 1980s, the Pave Hawk features terrain-following radar, GPS navigation, aerial refuelling capability, and advanced defensive countermeasures. It played a vital role in operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other global theatres. Its rugged design, combined with the ability to conduct rescues under heavy fire, has made the HH-60G a mainstay of USAF combat search and rescue missions for over three decades.
