History:

The Mirage 2000 D and N were developed as specialised variants of the Mirage 2000 platform to meet France’s strategic and tactical requirements. The Mirage 2000N entered service in the late 1980s as a nuclear-capable aircraft equipped with the ASMP missile, forming part of France’s deterrent force. The Mirage 2000D followed in the 1990s as a conventional strike aircraft, capable of precision ground attack with guided bombs and advanced targeting pods. These aircraft have served in multiple international operations, including missions over Kosovo, Afghanistan, and the Sahel. With their combination of speed, agility, and multirole capability, the D and N variants remain vital assets in the French Air Force arsenal.
