LifeColor’s CS-36 Imperial Japan Navy WWII Late War Set offers a finely tuned selection of six satin-finish acrylic paints tailored for modellers reproducing IJN warships from the later stages of World War II. Each tone reflects historic dockyard-specific hues used by the Imperial Japanese Navy for both superstructure and hulls.

- UA 644 Kure Grey
- UA 645 Yokosuka Grey
- UA 646 Maizuru Grey
- UA 647 Linoleum Deck
- UA 648 Antifouling Hull Red
These colours are ideal for modellers working on accurate naval dioramas or vessel builds such as Yamato-class battleships, destroyers, and cruisers painted according to late-war camouflage standards. Their satin finish enhances scale realism, particularly for steel surfaces and painted decks.
Using LifeColor:
- Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before painting.
- Dilute with water or LifeColor Thinner for airbrushing.
- Airbrush at low pressure (10–20 psi) for optimal control.
- Apply in thin layers, allowing each to dry fully.
- Clean tools with LifeColor Cleaner or fresh water after use.
