LifeColor paints are water-based acrylics suitable for a wide range of modelling surfaces, including plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, wood, cloth, and ceramic. They are ideal for both brush painting and airbrushing, offering smooth, consistent coverage and accurate colour reproduction.
This set includes six carefully matched colours used on German Kriegsmarine U-Boats during World War II:
- UA 607 Schiffsbodenfarbe III Grau DKM 23
- UA 608 Schlickgrau 58
- UA 609 Blaugrau 58-1
- UA 610 Dunkelgrau 52
- UA 611 Dunkelgrau 53
- UA 612 Teerfirnis TF 99 Faded
These colours are ideal for achieving realistic and historically accurate U-Boat finishes across various camouflage and weathering styles.
Using LifeColor:
- Clean the model surface before painting.
- For airbrushing, dilute the paint to a milky consistency using water or LifeColor Thinner.
- Spray at low pressure between 10–20 psi for optimal atomisation.
- Apply in light coats, allowing each coat to fully dry before applying the next.
- Clean brushes and airbrush tools with water or appropriate acrylic cleaner.
