The LifeColor Shades of Black Set CS-27 offers a carefully selected palette of dark tones ideal for creating realistic shadows, weathering effects, and depth in scale models. These water-based acrylics provide excellent coverage and flow for both brush painting and airbrushing on a variety of surfaces including plastic, resin, metal, wood, and fabric.

- UA 213 Grigio-Verde Chiaro
- UA 214 Grigio-Verde Scuro
- UA 215 Rosso Ruggine
- UA 216 Verde Scuro
- UA 217 Giallo Sabbia Chiaro
- UA 218 Giallo Sabbia Scuro
Although not pure blacks, these muted and near-black hues give modellers a broader tonal range, suitable for blending, shading, and adding subtle variation to uniforms, machinery, or structures. This set works well for military models, fantasy miniatures, or weathering applications.
Using LifeColor:
- Clean the surface before painting for best adhesion.
- Dilute with water or LifeColor Thinner for airbrushing.
- Apply in thin layers, allowing time to dry between coats.
- Clean tools using water or LifeColor Cleaner.
