LifeColor’s Weathered Wood Set offers a highly effective solution for painting and ageing wooden surfaces across various modelling subjects. Whether you’re working on ships, railways, buildings, or diorama bases, these acrylic colours are perfect for representing the natural variation and decay seen in real wood.
This set includes six water-based acrylic paints:
- UA 701 Rust Dark Shadow
- UA 708 Light Wood Base
- UA 710 Weathered Wood Grey
- UA 716 Old Timber Brown
- UA 717 Dry Rot Grey
- UA 718 Worn Oak
These tones can be layered or combined to simulate sun-bleached planks, rotting beams, or aged decking. Ideal for modellers looking to enhance realism in their scenes.
Using LifeColor:
- Clean all surfaces before applying paint.
- Thin with water or LifeColor Thinner for airbrush use.
- Spray at low pressure (10–20 psi) or apply with a fine brush.
- Use in thin layers, allowing full drying time between coats.
- Clean brushes and airbrushes with LifeColor Cleaner or water.
