Matho Models 1/35 Cardboard Boxes – Small Set 2

The assortment brings together selected boxes from Matho Models sets covering water and soda drinks, pizza, generic packaging, electronic devices, and post and courier services. This variety makes the sheet useful for adding different styles of cardboard packaging within a single project.

Detailed Inside and Out

The boxes are printed on slightly thickened paper to provide a realistic appearance when assembled. The inside surfaces are also printed with a brown cardboard texture, so the boxes can be displayed open or closed. This extra interior detail gives you more flexibility when arranging the boxes within a detailed modelling scene.

With 32 boxes and 18 individual designs, the set includes duplicates of some designs while retaining plenty of visual variety. The actual product does not include copyright markings.

Cutting and Assembly Tips

For the cleanest results, cut out each box with a very sharp knife, preferably with a new blade, and a steel ruler. Also remove the thick white or black lines between the upper and lower flaps to help achieve cleaner assembly.

After cutting around the complete outline, make one cut to the left and one to the right of the thick line. Use the tip of the knife where the line remains attached and move it sideways to remove the unwanted section.

For easier folding and sharper bends, gently run a knife along the bending lines using a steel ruler as a guide. Apply only light pressure so the fold lines are scored rather than cut through. Once you’ve assembled and glued a coloured box, you can lightly paint its exposed paper edges in an appropriate colour to reduce the white paper’s appearance and give the finished box a cleaner look.
