Matho Models 1/35 Water Cardboard Boxes

Add realistic drinks packaging to your 1/35 scenes with Matho Models Cardboard Boxes – Water. The set includes 30 cardboard boxes in six designs, offering a varied selection of water packaging to add small-scale detail to your modelling projects.

Each box is printed on slightly thickened paper to give the assembled item a realistic appearance. The inside is also printed with a brown cardboard texture, so you can display individual boxes open or closed. This interior detail provides additional flexibility when arranging the boxes and makes them useful for detailing scenes where water packaging is required.

30 Boxes in Six Designs

With 30 individual boxes across six different designs, the set provides plenty of scope for creating varied arrangements. You can group closed boxes together, while open ones reveal the printed brown cardboard interior, letting you create different configurations from the same set.

Cutting and Assembly

For clean results, cut the boxes from the sheet using a sharp, preferably new, knife and a steel ruler. Also remove the thick white or black lines between the upper and lower flaps to help the boxes fit cleanly when assembled.

After cutting around the complete outline of a box, make one cut to the left and another to the right of each thick line. Use the tip of the knife where the line remains attached to the box, then carefully remove the unwanted section.

For easier folding, gently run a knife along the bending lines using a steel ruler as a guide. Apply only light pressure so that the lines are scored rather than cut. This helps create neat, sharp bends when forming each individual box.

Once the boxes have been folded and glued together, exposed white paper edges on the coloured designs can be lightly painted in a matching colour. This finishing step helps disguise the white paper edges while retaining the printed exterior designs and brown cardboard-textured interiors.
