Mr Hobby Mr. Almighty Clip Base Large GT89
The Mr Hobby Mr. Almighty Clip Base Large GT89 provides a convenient way to hold model kit components during painting and drying. Measuring 200 x 150mm, the base holds multiple parts at once, keeping them upright and separated without touching freshly painted surfaces.
The base is designed to accept Mr Hobby Almighty Clip Sticks, toothpicks, wooden chopsticks and metal wire used as temporary handles for model parts. Once a component is painted, you can insert its holding stick into the base, keeping the part supported while the paint dries.
Holding Model Parts During Painting
Painting small components can be difficult when they need to be held by hand, particularly when working with several parts or applying paint to multiple surfaces. A clip stick lets you hold and reposition the component without touching the painted areas.
Small, fine or thin parts can be gripped using an appropriate section of the sprue. Components with suitable locating holes or pins can also be supported using holding sticks. This provides different ways to secure parts according to their shape and size.
After painting, insert the holding stick into the Almighty Clip Base to keep the component upright. You can support several parts together, making the station useful when working through multiple components from the same model kit.

Painting and Drying Support
The Almighty Clip Base helps organise painted components on the workbench while allowing them to dry separately. It is particularly useful for holding numerous small parts that would otherwise need to be placed directly onto a work surface.
Take care when securing heavy or large components, as excessive weight may cause the base to overturn or become damaged. Heavy resin parts may also damage the holding sticks. Handle pointed sticks carefully, and be careful when opening the box, as the box edges may tear.
